With a unique background in finance and entrepreneurship, Anthony crafts comprehensive strategies to help his clients pursue their ideal retirements.
Anthony is especially committed to help others create tax-efficient strategies, to help them avoid the mistakes he made upon selling his landscaping enterprise in 2014 — mistakes that prompted him to become a vigorous learner of tax issues and strategies. After spending years studying characteristics of wealth accumulation, he considers it his mission to help educate clients on the principles of growing, preserving and transferring wealth.
A financial professional who is licensed to offer insurance and investment products and services, Anthony came to Merit Advisors in 2018 after working as an advisor for Goldberg, Clouse & Edgell from 2014 to 2017. He has passed the Series 7 and 66 securities exams. He graduated in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Anthony advises clients to focus less on their day-to-day returns and more on leaning into income strategies that can serve as a “roadmap that can help you achieve all your goals and dreams in retirement.” He also believes it is imperative to have strategies to help minimize taxes in retirement.
Anthony and his wife, Leeanne, have been married for more than two decades and have four wonderful children: Luca, Vincent, Cristiano and Talia. The family lives in Pickerington, Ohio, and has a chocolate labrador retriever named Charlie.
When he isn’t working, Anthony enjoys watching his children in their various activities, spending time with his family at the neighborhood park or pool, taking walks, golfing with friends and clients, and joining Leeanne for an occasional date-night dinner and glass of wine.
